It will be an exciting and valuable time for encouragement, discernment and “iron sharpening iron”. Two highly experienced coaches will be joining us from interstate.   Jenny became a Christian at Newcastle University while training to become a teacher and since that time has been passionate about the mission of all believers to go throughout the world and make disciples.

Jenny also counts it a privilege to be the face of Jesus Christ in her workplace. Currently Jennifer is the Missions Pastor at Mayfield Baptist Church and Dean of Students at the University of Newcastle. Jennifer is a member of the steering group of Crossover Australia and the NSW/ACT Baptist Assembly Council and has spoken locally, nationally and internationally as an academic into her research area and as a pastor into the missional heart of the church worldwide.

Jenny is the wife of Boyd and mother of two married daughters, with two granddaughters. Alongside her family, faith and friends she loves live music, dancing, travel and most recently tandem sky diving.

Ian has been in full-time pastoral ministry for 22 years, has a B.Min & MA.Min from Morling Theological College. He has ministered in both city and rural settings and was appointed at Associate Director for Church Development for the Baptist Association of NSW & ACT in 2015. In this role Ian oversees Church Health and Revitalisation across the churches in NSW & ACT, along with the Consultancy, Coaching and Regional Minister strategy.

Ian has a strong commitment to mission and a passion to see churches revitalised, thriving and impacting their local communities for Jesus. Ian is married to Carolyn and they have two children, a daughter 21 and a son 19.

2013-09-22 - SpeakingAndrew Turner is the Church Development Facilitator for BCSA and author of Fruitful Church. He is passionate about church planting and local mission. Married to Cathy with 3 kids, Andrew enjoys sports and games of all sorts, dad jokes, puns and nerdy stuff. Andrew led a team to revitalise Glen Osmond Baptist, which he pastored for 11 years and in 2013 joined a team to revitalise West Beach Baptist.

For the body: Sleeping-bag/sheets; extra blanket (1 blanket provided); pillowcase (pillow provided), towel; toiletries, warm clothes; walking shoes
For the soul: Bible; notepad; nibbles; cards/board games
Don’t bring: Aerosol sprays – apparently they trigger the fire alarms
