Baptist Care SA

We are a not-for-profit community services organisation and affiliated ministry of the SA Baptist Churches who express God’s love and compassion for all. We began in 1913 as the West End Baptist Mission providing a safe place for people living on the streets. Today, our mission remains finding ways to make people’s lives better.

The services we offer

Baptist Care SA’s WestCare Centre

Baptist Care SA’s WestCare Centre is a safe place where people from all walks of life are welcome.

Each week, we provide over 600 free meals, and access to showers and laundry facilities. We can only provide these with the kindness of our generous donors.

We need your support to continue to deliver love and support to people who are struggling on our streets and to people in need who are isolated in their homes.

Can you help?

Baptist Care SA, lives, works and walks on Kaurna, Peramangk and Boandik lands. We acknowledge Aboriginal people as the state’s first peoples, recognise their traditional ownership, and respect their cultural heritage, beliefs, deep connection and continued guardianship of land and waters. We value the contributions of Elders past and present, and are committed to learning from those emerging.
