Evangelistic Preaching – Journey Seminar

Our November Journey Seminar will explore the various ways that evangelism and apologetics can bleed into the regular diet of the local church preaching ministry. With years of experience as a pastor and itinerant who speaks to religious and secular audiences, Dan Paterson will unpack some of the best ways to connect our preaching to the questions of our culture, offer various onramps across the year for those exploring faith, and develop the skills necessary to speak Christian truth with a profoundly invitational accent. With lots of questions for discussion, come ready to engage and stir one another towards developing a biblically faithful and culturally relevant pulpit ministry.

Dan Paterson is a Christian thinker and the founder of Questioning Christianity, a ministry aimed at connecting the Christian story to life’s deepest questions. With a personal background of wrestling through the problem of evil on the way to becoming a Christian, he has gone on to study theology and apologetics in Australia and at Oxford, fuelled by a passion to help others process their doubts and discover the relevance and reasonableness of faith in Jesus. Dan is based in Brisbane, Australia, where together with his wife Erin their favourite job is raising three boys: Josiah, Zachariah, and Seth.
