Pastors Gathering 2020

Pastors Gathering is a 2-day retreat designed to help you hit reset. There’ll be plenty of time to share stories, feel encouraged and inspired, and perhaps most excitingly – actually see others face-to-face!
Nestled amongst gum trees, vineyards and a beautiful lake, Serafino is the perfect spot for you to get away from it all and feel refreshed. Plus its not too far to walk to town for a morning brew.
Our program will look slightly different from our previous Pastors Conferences; there will be a smorgasbord of afternoon activities to choose from (more info here, but think hiking, tours, coffee, wine tasting), as well as stories and encouragement from those in our Baptist movement. This year it is all about seeing people who have been in the same boat, and gaining inspiration, encouragement and friendship from one another.

Speaker: Tim Harris

Speaker: Tim Harris

Bishop, Anglican Diocese of Adelaide

Bishop Tim Harris is a kiwi by birth, although has lived most of his adult life in Australia. He moved to Adelaide in 1995 with his wife Fiona, together with their family. Tim has been involved in grassroots ministry for over 35 years, ministering in a range of contexts, from a country town, regional centre, suburban Adelaide and now in the northern suburbs. He has also continued in research (Pauline studies, and missional theology) and theological education for 30 years, including establishing a new theological college in 2008 (Bishopdale Theological College, in Nelson, NZ). Tim and his wife care for an adult son with an intellectual disability, who teaches us so much about God and the Kingdom! His hobbies are woodwork (giving new life to discarded wood), and boating on the Murray River.

Pricing
This year in particular we want to make our Pastors Gathering as accessible as possible to all of our valued pastors and families. To help with this, we’ve chosen to lower the cost to our attendees significantly, and encourage you to take advantage!
